Q - How long does it take to build a swimming pool? |
A - Pool prices, like houses, vary depending upon the materials used. An investment of upgrades will add beauty and could benefit you with a more spacious pool, a spa, water features, upgraded plaster and decking. Automated systems will require less time to maintain your pool. At the no cost consultation meeting, we will discuss your family’s needs and work with your budget to give you a backyard environment that will bring you years of enjoyment. |
Q - How much does the average pool cost? |
Q - What is a Certified Building Professional? |
A - There are many options of decking, tile, and plaster finishes. You may wish to add automated control systems. For a unique effect, you could add a beach entry or a vanishing (also called “negative”) edge to your design. For your nighttime entertainment, add a color changing light. You may also want to consider water features and fountains, fire pits, outdoor kitchens, landscape packages, gazebo and shade structures, and more. |
Q - What are some of the features I have to choose from when building a pool? |
A - Typically 4 to 6 weeks, but if the weather is great, it could take less. Many days of heavy rain can delay the project. The complexity of the scope of work will also lengthen the schedule. |
A - A member of the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals who has achieved a particular level of specialized training. They must have “successfully completed an extensive course of study involving the latest information and technology in the business of pool and spa construction. They have also made a long-term commitment to continue his or her education with regular additional training.” We have held this designation since 2000. For more information on CBP’s and the APSP read this article from their website. |
Q - How much time will I have to spend cleaning my pool? |
A - Typically one session of 45 minutes to an hour a week. However, that can be greatly reduced with the many automated systems available: · An in-floor cleaning system is the only cleaner on the market that will clean steps, benches, and spas; and there is no machine and hose to drag in and out of your pool. Built in heads push the dirt to the main drain. · Automatic water fillers maintain the level of water in the pool that is lost due to evaporation. This eliminates the need for you to drag hoses out and monitor the water level. |
